'Breaking Dawn' Begins Shooting This Fall for Nov. 18, 2011 Release

With 'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' amassing more than $203.7 million domestically and $104.6 million overseas as of Friday, Summit Entertainment has cast its gaze on the next episode in the Stephenie Meyer-penned saga by announcing that 'Breaking Dawn' will begin filming this fall in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Vancouver.
The shoot for the final chapter, which will be released as two separate films, will last for the better part of next year, culminating in the release on Nov. 18, 2011 of the first of the two parts.

Academy Award-winner Bill Condon ('Gods and Monsters,' 'Dreamgirls') will direct both films, with returning cast members Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Billy Burke, Peter Facinelli, Elizabeth Reaser, Jackson Rathbone, Nikki Reed, Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz. Melissa Rosenberg, who wrote the screenplays for the first three 'Twilight' films, is currently working on the screenplay for the last editions.

With the same cast, writer and production company for all the 'Twilight' sagas (the only variable has been directors -- Catherine Hardwicke, Chris Weitz and David Slade), it's safe to assume that 'Breaking Dawn' will continue the winning streak for all concerned -- and keep Twihards very, very happy well into 2013.
