Jennifer Love Hewitt rooting for Robert Pattinson's 'Twilight' character because of embarrassing Taylor Lautner encounter

Jennifer Love Hewitt says an embarrassing encounter with Taylor Lautner at last month's Twilight Saga: Eclipse premiere made her "Team Edward", meaning she now prefers Robert Pattinson's character, the vampire Edward Cullen over Lautner's, the werewolf Jacob Black.

"So I go to the Twilight premiere. I'm so excited. I'm a little on the fence on whether I'm 'Team Edward or Jacob' because I'm really starting to fall for them both, like Bella," Hewitt said in a recent episode of The Wendy Williams Show, referencing Kristen Stewart's character in the series.

"Rob Pattinson is nowhere to be found. I see Taylor Lautner. I go up and I'm like 'Hi, Taylor, can I take a picture with you' and he's like 'Yeah, sure'. So we get together, we take the picture. My friend takes it on my phone so I have evidence and I can send it to all of my friends. He's like this in the picture," the actress says, grimacing.

"I go home and I'm like, really, am I really that bad? He's definitely not Team Jennifer. He could not have looked more miserable. So I deleted the picture. I just lied and told my friends I didn't get to meet him because I was like, that's embarrassing. I don't now what the deal was. But I'm Team Edward now."

Lautner has not commented. Breaking Dawn, the fourth installment of the vampire romance saga, is set to be released on November 18, 2011 and screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg says it may have sex scenes. Filming begins in the fall.

Robert Pattinson look inspires range of M&S underpants

A teenage vampire is not the obvious choice of inspiration for a range of men's underpants. But Robert Pattinson, or R Patz as the star of The Twilight Saga is known by fans, has been named as the inspiration behind Marks and Spencer's new slim-fit underwear.
Dubbed the R-Pant, the low-rise briefs and trunks are designed to be worn under skinny jeans and trousers, a look popularised by the likes of Russell Brand and Mark Ronson, two celebrities the chain cites as design influences.

Despite widely reported criticism by Jeremy Paxman in 2008 when the Newsnight presenter claimed "their pants no longer provide adequate support", one in four UK men still wear M&S pants, according to the retailer.

The R-Pant launch is a thinly-veiled marketing strategy designed to appeal to a younger audience and to sex-up its underwear range. "Over the last three years we've seen an increase in the popularity of hipsters," says Richard Beale, head of merchandising. "The new range is designed to appeal to a younger, fashion-savvy customer."

Olie Arnold, style director of Men's Health, believes there is a market for lower-rise pants. "I hate seeing the waistbands of men's pants poking out of the top of their jeans," he said. He questioned whether M&S was the right target market. "Do M&S really even sell skinny jeans? Maybe lots of women will buy them for their husbands and boyfriends, though."

In recent years footballers have been used to market men's underwear. Cristiano Ronaldo is the current poster boy for Emporio Armani, a role he inherited from David Beckham. Pattinson's skinnier aesthetic is a move away from this trend.

Pattinson will not star in an advertising campaign for M&S. But a spokesman said the Twilight actor has been seen shopping for underwear at the store. The new range will go on sale in September.

Sabrina Frank, Vera in 'Eclipse', talks about meeting Rob and Kristen

Sabrina Frank was cast as Vera in 'Eclipse', Rosalie's friend in her back story. Her part was eventually cut from the film. In an interview with Glamour (Germany) she talked about Rob.

Glamour: Did you notice the Hype around that Robert Pattinson & CO.?

Sabrina: Yes, and how. It really is unbelievable that the fans will find all these locations. On my first day of shooting, we are driven into the middle of the woods, I would have never found this way - and when we got there, there were already dozens of fans waiting. I was completely shocked, but my driver said, the fans usually know already, which is rotated before it even know the driver. While it is all off and they do not come anywhere near the set, but for the fans is the greatest, when a car drove past in which they might sit Robert Pattinson!

Glamour: Did you meet Robert personally?

Sabrina: Yes, I sat with two times with him in the mask. That was altogether a very calm and really pleasant situation. I also met Kristen. I respect Robert and Kristen and the job they do and am very grateful that I got to know them.

Glamour: Did you feel Robert & Kristen were arrogant?

Sabrina: It is surprising that the actors who had more minor roles in "Eclipse", I met with a much greater arrogance, as Robert and Kristen. Some people did not even shake my hand or looked at me in the eyes. That was all very superficial. Kristen and Robert on the other hand looked at me very interested, shook my hand and listened as I spoke. I found them very enjoyable and authentic, very different than you expected.

Glamour: At that time, so the rumor bubbled to an affair of the two, you see something like this?

Sabrina: No. I only saw them together once and I think they are way too professional to kiss and cuddle on set
Glamour: You were four days immersed in "Eclipse", what were your highlights?

Sabrina: Meeting Robert and Kristen. And to see how human the two really are. I would love to do them any good because I feel so sorry. You need to hide all the time, because at the fences hang the teens. They don't have a single minute for themselves. That one still remains is so normal in my eyes an insane performance. Also, I was taken seriously as an actress, I was allowed to speak in the trailer by director David Slade, like any other actor too - and with him about my role. It was great.

Kristen Stewart Interview for Canada.com

LOS ANGELES - Kristen Stewart continues to be in denial about her relationship.

If you're wondering with whom, you're probably a cave-dwelling hermit, and don't know what everybody else knows whether they want to or not - Robert Pattinson.

We also understand that Stewart plays Bella Swan, who is a devoted teen to Pattinson's vampire Edward Cullen in the Twilight movie series based on the wildly popular Stephenie Meyer books.

The first two movie versions of the novels - Twilight and New Moon - didn't do so badly either, raking in a sensational $1.1 billion US at the box office worldwide.

The third film in the series, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, which opens June 30, is poised to set new records, too.

That's even as the final chapter, Breaking Dawn, begins production in October for a six-month shoot of two separate movies of the one book. Breaking Dawn Part I has already been set to open in theatres Nov. 18, 2011.

So inquiring minds will have more time to speculate about whether the off-screen chemistry between Stewart and Pattinson falls into the lovey-dovey realm or the just-good-friends category.

The gossip guessing might continue as the Twilight craziness ramps up again, but some day, when all is said and rumoured, the truth will come out.

"Probably," teases a smirking Stewart during a recent interview for the latest Twilight major motion picture filmed in Vancouver last year.

Now back to the David Slade-directed Eclipse. In this one, the Bella-Edward love connection is challenged by the wolf pack's Jacob (Taylor Lautner).

As the threesome squabble, the avenging vampire Victoria (Bryce Dallas Howard, replacing Montreal's Rachelle Lefevre) returns with a vicious band of "new blood" vampires obsessed with terminating Bella. This leads to a violent confrontation between them and the Cullen coven of vampires who unite with their wolf pack enemies - while the treacherous ruling vampire clan Volturi look on.

It's not all extreme blood-letting and close-up emoting, though. There is some humour to lighten the tension and a showcased brief interlude between Bella and Jacob.

"Bella's definitely in conflict in that she's pushed to the point where the decision needs to be made," says Stewart. "She does that in each movie."

Of course, the Twilight fanatics will be waiting for the Jacob kiss in Eclipse. And Stewart says they won't be disappointed.

"It is the most unique moment," agrees the 20-year-old. "It's also a mistake by Bella, but I think it's cool to see her a little bit ashamed, and at the same time scared. I always say that Bella makes a lot of mistakes but she's willing to own them."

For a change, however, Bella is more of an observer than a participant in the Eclipse running, jumping and falling down.

"The action is absolutely everybody else's responsibility," she admits. "I just stand behind the people who are stronger than me. I didn't get to run around as much as I did in the second movie."

No matter, her Bella portrayal is just as vital to her in Eclipse as it was in Twilight and New Moon. "This was a part that I really wanted to play," she says, "and luckily for me I got to do it for a really long time."

Of course, Breaking Dawn will offer new, perhaps more controversial, challenges as a pregnant Bella makes the transition with Edward to vampire.

"I can't wait to see how Bella transforms," confesses Stewart, "and I can't wait for her to get married and have a kid. It's all of that."

And what kind of vampire will Bella turn out to be on screen?

"I've been on the outskirts of what it would feel like to play one of them," she says. "I've thought about it a lot and I can't wait to actually be it. It's going to be a trip ... and I think she's going to be the coolest vampire out of all of them."

Another Breaking Dawn bonus for the actress is that the book's multiple storylines won't be streamlined or edited like the Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse books-to-movies.

"That's why I'm glad that Breaking Dawn is going to be two movies," she says. "So there's going to be less of that - less of having to lose stuff."

Meanwhile, Stewart continues to to take a break from her Twilight world with roles in independent pictures. Earlier this year, she played Joan Jett in the rock 'n roll biopic of The Runaways.

And, she's just as enthusiastic about her new movie role this summer. She's signed on to play Marylou in the film version of Jack Kerouac's acclaimed 1957 novel, On The Road. Walter Salles, of Motorcycle Diaries fame, is directing.

"It was my first, favourite book," she says of the primer for the 1950s beat generation. "I'm doing that (On The Road) right after this press is over for Eclipse. In July, we start a four-week beatnik boot camp."

That part is in keeping with her quest to mix it up.

"For work stuff, I do what I feel and I don't really worry about what it's going to do afterwards," Stewart admits.

"Obviously, the Bella role put me in this sort of epic position, but it's just another movie and I think it doesn't matter if you're doing a studio movie or you're doing an independent movie, it's always going to be the same job."

"The Runaways" Stills

What parents need to know about THE RUNAWAYS!

I found this here while looking for reviews on the movie, i know it's serious because  Twilight has younger fans too, and it's a cool way to warn the parents that it's not the same thing as Twilight. But, i did think it was pretty funny.
What Parents Need to Know

Parents need to know that this music biopic is way too mature for Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning's young teen Twilight fans. It's full of drinking, drugging, and high-heeled swaggering, as well asplenty of sexy stuff, including kissing between teen girls and sexscenes between teen girls and young men. Substances are mostly limitedto alcohol, but teens also snort cocaine. Parents should be preparedfor teens to fantasize about running off and starting a band after seeing thismovie.

•Families can talk about the teens using drugs and alcoholin the movie. Why do you think there's such a link between drugs androck-n-roll? Did the up-and-coming musicians have to drink and usedrugs to be part of that community, or could they have made differentchoices?

•What do you think about the way Cherie's sexuality was portrayed in the movie? Was it realistic? How can teens explore their sexuality while staying safe?

•What was it about The Runaways' music that connected with audiences? What made it seem fresh and new?

•What did Joan and Cherie get out of the band? Out of music? What did Fowley get out of pushing the band members in such an insistent, abusive manner?

Bye, Bye, Bella! The Next Time You See Kristen Stewart, She’ll Be A Promiscuous Blond Hippie!

Twilight star Kristen Stewart is virtually unrecognizable as man-eating Marylou Moriarty in the big screen version of Jack Kerouac’s novel, On the Road.

You might just be crying in despair the next time you see Kristen Stewart – her newest character is NOTHING like your beloved Bella Swan!

The 20-year-old starlet will leave Twilight behind to play Marylou Moriarty, the slutty young wife of arty wanderer Dean Moriarty (Tron: Legacy’s Garrett Hedlund) in the film adaptation of Jack Kerouac’s iconic Beat Generation novel, On the Road. But what can you expect to see from Kristen, who’s shooting the flick for two months beginning August 2 in Toronto before heading to New Orleans and Mexico? Read on, BFFs!

• She sleeps around! Marylou bumps uglies with both Dean and his best friend, Sal (British actor Sam Reilly), has car sex with Dean while Sal sleeps AND gets it on with at least nine sailors!
• She says ‘I do’ – TWICE! Marylou marries Dean, divorces him and then gets hitched to a…car salesman. Trading up baby, trading up.

• She’s got blond ambition! Buh-bye brunette beauty – Kristen has returned to her strawberry blond roots (believe it or not) to play Marylou!
• She’s FINALLY get to dress like, well, Kristen Stewart! “Beatnik” is just an old-fashioned word for “hipster’, which is just K-Stew’s style! Think striped shirts, oversized sweaters, cowl-collared tops, slim-fit pants or pencil skirts, skinny Capri pants and eastern religious-symbol jewelry. However, female “beatniks” are a bit more feminine than the tomboyish starlet – so she might not TOTALLY love her new look.

• K-Stew will struggle to be smoking hot! Literally. Beatniks roll their own cigarettes, and we all know how much Robert Pattinson’s lady love likes a good ciggie!

• She wants to hold your hand! We know how Kristen loves her indie bands, but if she really wants to get into her character, she’s going to need to embrace Beat bands like Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd and, of course, The Beatles.

But not to worry, HollywoodLifers. You’ll still see SOME of K-Stew in Marylou. The Beat Generation were known for their spontaneous creativity and non-conformity. Sounds like our girl!

Was Kristen Stewart Edged out of 'Dragon Tattoo' Lead?

Sorry, Kristen Stewart fans; your dreams of seeing the Twilight beauty kicking butt as hacker Lisbeth Salander in a The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo remake probably won't be fulfilled.

Sony Pictures has issued a December 21, 2011, release date for Dragon Tattoo, and a short list of potential actresses for the lead role is rumored to be circulating. Unfortunately, while K-Stew was reported to be in contention for the part, her name is apparently no longer included in the mix.

Based on the 2009 Swedish hit (which, in turn, was based on the first book of author Stieg Larsson's Millennium Trilogy), Dragon Tattoo has become the source of rabid casting speculation, with everyone from Stewart to Natalie Portman to Carey Mulligan said to be in contention for the part of Salander. Though Mulligan has now confirmed that she won't be pursuing the part, other actresses currently said to be in the running include Ellen Page, Alice in Wonderland lead Mia Wasikowska, Sucker Punch's Emily Browning, and The Social Network's Rooney Mara.

The role of publisher Mikael Blomkvist is also yet to be cast. Daniel Craig is in talks to play the part, a possibility that seems increasingly likely following the recent decision to put the James Bond movie franchise on indefinite hiatus.

Don't worry too much about Stewart, though; in addition to the two-part Breaking Dawn finale of the Twilight series, which will begin filming in the fall, K-Stew is currently preparing to film the big-screen adaptation of the classic Jack Kerouac Beat Generation novel On the Road, in which she'll play Marylou.

With K-Stew out of the running for The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, who would you like to see in the lead role?

Kristen Stewart: Nothing is better than sharing passion

Kristen Stewart is delighted that The Twilight Saga films have so many enthusiastic fans.

'It feels good. There's nothing bad. We're not nervous about the pressure or having approval because we share the fans' obsession with the story,' says Kristen, 20.

'It's great if you're on some sort of common ground. It's like fire. There's nothing better than sharing passion.'
Some lucky Twi-Hards were even allowed on set when Kristen, Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson were shooting The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.

'It was strange having fans so close - it's like doing theatre, they would stand up and clap after every take and then sit there very quietly, organised in little rows, trying not to disturb us while we were in character,' recalls Kristen.
'It was a little bit more pressure, but at the same time it was motivating. They gave us a lot of encouragement.'

Stephenie Meyer Takes 'Breaking Dawn' Rated R Debate into Her Own Hands

Stephenie Meyer is stepping forward in the midst of the Breaking Dawn should-it-or-should-it-not be rated R debate. And guess what she's saying? She'll be there every day to make sure the movie accurately reflects her vision as the movie's latest producer.

"It's really a lot about being...in the room," the Twilight author confides. "And it's going to be a lot of upheaval in my life, but I felt like it was important. And then also, it's the last one. So I kinda feel like, I'm going to commit to this for this year, I'll get it done, and then I won't do that again."

The suits at Summit still claim they can do the book justice without creating an R-rated movie. Producer Wyck Godfrey reveals, "I'm unwavering in my belief that these will be PG-13 movies. And really, I say that not because I know what we're shooting but because I feel that they should be. I feel like the audience of the books and the movies, many of them are under 18...I can't make an R-rated conclusion to the franchise."

Not to mention that Stephenie's Mormon faith counsels against watching R-rated movies. So she'll probably want to keep it PG-13 anyway.

The Team Edward vs. Team Jacob battle may continue on, but it's looking like Team PG-13 has it in the bag.
