Examiner: 'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' DVD Tops DVD Sales Charts, Google Searches

As you know, over three million copies of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse on DVD/Blu-Ray were sold on its opening weekend of release.

According to The Wrap, this put Eclipse on top of DVD sales charts for the weekend. Apparently, most people who came out for Eclipse bought the DVD rather than renting because it didn't show so hotly on rental lists. Ah well. Most fans probably want their own copy of the film rather than paying to rent it anyway.

In other Eclipse-related news, The Hollywood Reporter states that Eclipse's trailer was one of "the most-searched movie trailers on Google this year."
Anyone surprised?

Last year, the New Moon trailer was the "most viral video" of the year.
