Robert Pattinson vs. Zac Efron: You Decide!

I don't know what to say. I have NOTHING against Zac Effron. He's such a sweetheart and is not looking for attention.

Did Robert Pattinson destroy Zac Efron's chances of becoming Young Hollywood's reigning heartthrob? According to several experts, it just might be so.

In light of the disappointing box office draw of Efron's new high-profile movie, Charlie St. Cloud (reportedly, it's raked in a mere $23 million since its July 30 release, compared to its $44 million budget), PopEater gathered a panel of authorities and asked if the former High School Musical hunk's star has dimmed.

The consensus? Yes—and R-Pattz is largely to blame.
According to relationship expert Matt Titus, Pattinson has overpowered Efron in the teen idol department with his superior understanding of how to play the fame game:

"Robert is the new King of all the screaming girls at this moment and they have forgotten Zac. You only need to look at this year's MTV Movie Awards; when Zac entered the girls were excited but when Robert walked in the place went nuts. Twilight has changed everything and Robert Pattinson gets it. He says nothing, and acts mysteriously. This is what teenage girls really want right now."

But according to New York Times film critic Joe Neumaier, Pattinson isn't the only pretty boy cutting into Efron's percentage in the heartthrob market. The way Neumaier sees it, there's currently a glut of male celebs vying for teenage girls' hearts, and Efron has failed to adequately distance himself from the pack:

"I blame an overcrowded pin-up boy field. Yes, Rob Pattinson is in that jam-packed yearbook but so is Taylor Lautner, some Gossip Girl boys, Shia LaBeouf, the Glee guys and at least one Jonas brother. All these young dudes are now starting to cancel each other out. I think at this point, there's only so many dewy-eyed sulking guys [that] girls can keep track of."

Famous Mag Makes Bogus ‘Breaking Dawn’ Delay Claim

We’re sure Famous magazine is good at some things.

Careful reporting about The Twilight Saga and its stars just isn’t near the top of the list.

The cast and crew on Breaking Dawn have been “left reeling,” declares the tabloid.

There is “confusion & anger” as “filming on Breaking Dawn is cancelled,” according to the mag’s cover.

Inside, the story explains that production “has been postponed for almost a month,” and insiders are supposedly “warning of further delays.” “It was expected that filming would begin in early October but it keeps being pushed back,” claims a “source.” “For what seems like a million reasons, we’re struggling to begin work again.”



What we love most about this piece is that there are supposedly “a million reasons” production is allegedly postponed — and Famous can’t name one.


There are vague references to the actors’ “busy work schedules” and “losing interest” in the material… and that’s about it.

Should we believe Famous?

The same outlet that claimed Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner were embroiled in a major feud? And that Lautner and Kristen Stewart were “caught” in a secret affair? And that Stewart was despised by everyone on the Eclipse set? And that Pattinson confirmed to the U.S. media a breakup with Stewart?
Pardon our skepticism.

Gossip Cop spoke with a source close to the production, who calls the Famous story “not true in the slightest.”


“There are no delays,” we’re assured. “The actors arrive on set in October for rehearsal, hair and make-up tests, etc.” Shooting begins in November, and “this has always been the plan.”

“There may be some confusion because actors have said in interviews that they start in October,” explains our insider. “Prep for the actors starts in October, [but] production has always been scheduled for November.”


Sounds like the only ones angry, confused and “left reeling” are at Famous magazine

I hate posting this , but just to show that Perez Hilton is TRASH. I don't know why people check his blog and i hope this article shows everyone that does that they shouldn't be giving him visits.

We’ll give this to Perez Hilton: When it comes to being mean, patronizing and careless, no one is more efficient.
In a scant 62 words, the blogger manages to insult Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, the English language, and his readers’ intelligence.

Hilton posts a normal photo of Pattinson from last night’s Teen Choice Awards, describes him as having a “Stewie Puss Puss face on,” and speculates, “What did that bitch do now?”

Charming.
According to Hilton, Pattinson “didn’t look to (sic) happy” about being by himself at the ceremony. “His hair doesn’t look did, he looks more disshelved (sic) than usual and what is up with the King Spencer creeper beard???”

Actually, Pattinson looks like… well, Pattinson.
And despite Hilton’s comparison, we’re not really seeing the Spencer Pratt similarity.
Of course, the blogger once said Pattinson looked like an Avatar character. At least he’s on the right planet now.
As for the cheap shot at Stewart, the only sourpuss in this story is Hilton

When you watch the Teen Choice Awards on Fox tonight get ready for the Taylor Lautner show.




The New Moon star wins big, accepting three awards on stage, even beating out Robert Pattinson for Choice Male Hottie (who won last year with Megan Fox) and Choice Movie Actor Fantasy.



So was their any bitter blood between the costars who were seated next to each other? And how did Kristen Stewart's absence affect the show?



First off, Taylor and Rob couldn't have been more supportive. Or couldn't care less, you decide. After losing Choice Hottie not even 30 seconds went by before he looked super happy deep into convo and laughing with Ashley Greene.


Whenever Lautner won, Rob would clap and smile and touch his hair reminding us why he's still our choice hottie, and when Pattinson won for Choice Movie Actor in the drama category for Remember Me, Lautner was the first to slap him a low five on the way to the podium.
"It's great to win something outside of Twilight," R.Pattz told the audience during his acceptance speech.


"[Rob] was seated next to Taylor and Ashley, but since they won awards early on, they were running all over the Gibson Amphitheater," a source seated next to them tells us. "When they weren't there Rob was basically sitting alone. Taking pictures with fans was the most interaction he had with anyone else. He just sprawled out on the couch with his legs up during the show and kept to himself."
